Tour De France 2014: Stage One passes through Buckden on the tour through the Yorkshire Dales.  Book early so as not to be disappointed.

Buckden is ideally suited for both walkers and anyone wanting to tour.  There are some excellent walks from the village itself which include pleasant rambles and more arduous fell top hikes.  The market town of Hawes, Leyburn and Skipton are all within easy reach by car and there are plenty of places of interest that can be readily accessed.
